PARKING
Parking is available at the large, City-owned, camera-surveilled, Mission-Bartlett garage, less than a block from the building. Enter the garage on 21st St. between Mission and Valencia. To reach the Jung Institute building, you can exit on foot up one flight of stairs to 22nd St. at the rear of the garage. To return to the garage, you must enter on 21st St. The lot is open Sun-Thu (7am-10pm) & Fri-Sat (7am-midnight). The garage does not have a charging station. The closest charging station is at: 3350 Mission St, San Francisco, CA 94110.
If you must park on the street rather than in the garage, look to the west of Mission St., toward Valencia and Guerrero Streets. That area consistently reports fewer break-ins and other crimes than the area across Mission St. heading east.
If you are facing mobility challenges and have been issued a disabled placard or license plate, there are five handicapped spaces available on 22nd St. within a block of the building; you can also park in general metered parking zones without paying, in green zones, residential permit parking areas, and areas with posted time limits. If you are carpooling with someone who can let you out before parking, there are three yellow-curb loading zones near the building.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
BART: The 24th Street and Mission BART station is only two blocks from the building.
BUSES: SF MUNI #14 Mission and #49 Van Ness/Mission stop right in front of the Institute building. MUNI #14R Mission Rapid and #48 Quintara/24th St. stop at 24th St. and Mission, two blocks from the Institute.
