Our library represents a unique source for the study of Analytical Psychology in Northern California. The library has a comprehensive collection of material on Analytical Psychology as well as on Mythology, Symbolism, Alchemy, Religion and General Psychology. Apart from over 10,000 print books, the collection includes manuscripts, unique videotapes and DVDs, and an extensive audiotape collection. Many of our audiotapes are digitized as part of the library’s growing online collection with more than 170 electronic books and several electronic journals of Analytical Psychology. The library also has special collections and an Archive concerning C. G. Jung and the history of Analytical Psychology in California and beyond.

The library’s primary function is to serve the Institute’s Analytical Training Program, and the Goodrich Whitney Center For Psychotherapy, as well as other educational and research programs. We welcome researchers and writers from across the world as well as local students, professionals and the general public, all of who may join the library as subscribers.
