ALEXANDER TECHNIQUE AND THE PSYCHOLOGY OF C. G. JUNG

October 22, 2022 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

GROUP 3: SATURDAY, OCTOBER 22 & OCTOBER 29, 2022

10AM – NOON

FACULTY: LARRY BALL and MONICA NORCIA

TUITION: $100 (SPACE IS LIMITED)

C. G. Jung and F. M. Alexander believed that, by nature,
we strive to manifest our full potential — our wholeness, our “Self.”
Let’s explore the interplay of Jung’s Psychology and the Alexander
Technique to better know and experience our wholeness.

This interplay allows our wholeness to open the invisible doors of
the indivisible unity of our psyche and body to our conscious ego.
Experiencing psyche and body as one allows us to experience our
wholeness — here and now. Our striving towards wholeness brings
us joy, creativity, strength and clarity of choice and decision,
and all of life’s other gifts, known and unknown.

Monica and Larry will use their touch, words and presence to help
each of you, individually and in group, in this exploration. They ask
you to bring your own life experiences as grist for the mill.

LARRY BALL graduated from the Alexander Technique Institute of
San Francisco and taught at the school from 1981 to 2004. He has been a
serious student of Jung’s psychology since 1976 and was an analysand with a
Jungian analyst for over a decade. He currently teaches a confluence and
interplay of the work of Jung and Alexander in his San Rafael studio.

MONICA NORCIA is a graduate of the Alexander Technique Institute of
San Francisco and was certified by the American Society of Teachers of the
Alexander Technique in 2002. A voice teacher, performer and music
director, she teaches both Alexander and singing at her San Rafael studio.
Monica has held a lifelong interest in the works of C. G. Jung and his
students and was in Jungian analysis for more than 30 years.
